Is this training only for people who want to teach yoga?

No. This program is highly oriented towards self-leadership and community leadership. Yoga is our vehicle to learn and embody the tools required to show up on and off your yoga mat in an authentic and powerful way.

Does completing this program guarantee me a teaching spot at the Yoga Lab?

No. We would love to have you as a part of our team if we are a good fit for you and you are a good fit for us. We are always looking to add powerful, kind people to our teaching team, but completing the training does not guarantee a position at the Yoga Lab. More information on the process for applying to teach at the Yoga Lab will be provided in the training program.

How much work is expected to be done outside of the training hours?

You will be assigned break work to do individually and with other program participants. This work will extend on the learning done in the yoga classroom. You can expect about 10 hours of break work during the training weeks. Your engagement with this breakwork is important to ensure you’re equipped for the programming provided in person.
